These Vitamin A packed sweet potato fries are a perfect side dish or snack you can feel good about feeding your family.


4 (1 kg) sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into ½ inch wedges 
1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil 
Salt & pepper


½ cup (125 mL) Astro Original Balkan Plain 6% yogourt 
2 tbsp (30 mL) cocktail sauce 
1 tbsp (15 mL) hot sauce (or to taste) 
2 tsp (10 mL) lime juice 
½ tbsp (7.5 mL) grated onion 
1 clove of garlic crushed


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown, flipping potatoes once halfway through cooking.
  4. For sauce, in a small bowl, combine Astro Original yogourt and other ingredients.
